Michael CHAN is a Year 4 student majoring in Government and Public Administration.
In view of an increasing concern of emotion status among youngsters, Michael founded
Companion Hong Kong(同行鳥) in 2020, hoping to help university students to sort ways
to ease their emotional challenges.
Michael and his team have been organizing numerous voluntary activities such as
online sharing on emotional management. In 2021, Michael was awarded as Hong Kong Humanity Youth
Power by Hong Kong Red Cross. Companion HK is also one of the partner organizations of District Service
Project (2021-2022)which aims at raising public awareness about emotional health. Michael hopes to
promote emotional sharing through organizing more mental health activities in the future. Let the public be
each other’s rescuers.
