Flora Tsang

President 2021-22
Rotary Club of Star Avenue

President Flora joined Rotary since 2017 when she became a charter member of
RC Star Avenue. She first served as Club Admin Chair in 2017/18 then Community Service
Chair in 2018/19 and 19/20. She became President Elect in 20/21. First Female President
of the Club in 21/22.

Flora has been in the Food Industry and trading sector for over 30 years. She graduated from the University
of Toronto in Nutritional Sciences, Major Commerce and Minor Economics. After her return to Hong Kong,
she served as Food Technologist with the Regional Office of Givaudan, a Swiss Flavour and Fragrance
Company based in Hong Kong. She started to travel to China in late 80s when she worked for the New
Zealand Dairy Board (now renamed Fonterra) in Hong Kong and involved in different roles including Sales
and Marketing, New Product Development and Business Operation during her stay with the Company for
over 15 years. She was a member of the Hong Kong Management team . Flora retired from her Corporate
work from Fairwood Fast Food Limited under the Group Purchasing role.

She is currently a member of the Hong Kong Food Council, Hong Kong Meizhou General Chamber of
Commerce, University of Toronto Alumni Association and St. Stephen‘s Girls’ College Alumni Association
which she had served in the Committee for over 10 years.

As the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Central, Fonia is the Senior Director, Head of
Business Development South Pacific at EBSI Private (Everbright Securities Group).

Fonia has been actively involved in various community services. She is the Charter President of Rotary Alumni
Association, Rotary International District 3450, Founding Convenor of Investment Chat for Charity, Co-founder of
Hong Kong Digital Asset Society, Executive Committee Member of The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council,
Founding Chairperson of JPC Fellows, Hong Kong Policy Force, Founder of Hong Kong Youth Service Leader
Award etc.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Fonia has been awarded Oxford Advanced Management and
Leadership Program Outstanding Alumni Award; Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Young People, Junior Chamber
International; Hong Kong Professional Elite Lady, City Lady Chamber Junior Chamber International; as well as
Rotary Foundation Award – Hong Kong Young Professional, Rotary Youth Leadership Award of Rotary International
District 3450, to name a few.
