MESSAGE FROM ORGANISING COMMITTEE CHAIR

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Warmest welcome to the 62nd District Conference. It is a momentous occasion that for the first time, we are hosting
a District Conference in person simultaneously in Hong Kong, Macau and Mongolia with Rotarians from Macau and
Mongolia joining the main programme in Hong Kong virtually to ‘Share, Recognize and Engage’. Today’s digital
world, indeed, enables seamless fellowship and engagement anytime, anywhere even amidst the challenges of
COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Conference theme ‘Serve to Change Lives’ has never been more meaningful, relevant and empowering. The
past two years have certainly brought us to realise that unprecedented changes can occur at an unimaginable scale
and speed.

As we gather together, we are not only engaging in fellowship, sharing and connecting, we are more than ever
committed to our common cause ‘to Serve and to Change’ - to effect Change and to Change for Doing Good to the
World. We are all People of Action and we strive to build, exchange ideas, foster connection and take actions to
make social impacts to those in need.
While the theme of our Conference and the subject of our plenary and breakout sessions reflect this conscious
effort to change and effect change, we have prepared an exciting programme for these two days and hope you
will find engaging, inspiring, informative and exciting. We are delighted to have invited coveted speakers from the
community and our own Rotary family from Hong Kong, Macau and Mongolia to speak on riveting topics covering
Education, Service, ESG, Vocational and Empowering Girls under ‘Rotary Serves to Change Lives’ focus. I urge
you all to participate and actively engage in the meaningful sessions.

May I take this opportunity to express my personal heartfelt gratitude to District Governor Keith Chow, Advisors Past
Governors Anthony Hung, Ada Cheng, Belinda Yeung and YC Ho and all the Organizing Committee members. We
could not have put together this exciting yet challenging 2-day District Conference without your patience, guidance,
creativity and unwavering support. You are the best!
Thank you once again for attending this 62nd District Conference and I hope you all stay enlightened, be inspired,
be recognized for this year’s selfless accomplishments and truly enjoy these two days of long-missed face-to-face
fellowship.

My dear Fellow Rotarians, I wish you and your family a very Healthy, Happy and Peaceful new Rotary Year ahead.
